*ver*
*ttl* is the classic
game of hangman with a twist. The letter choices are represented by their ASL handshapes. Playing *ttl* is great practice for learning American Sign Language.
The game includes a realistic looking pirate (?) on a dock with gallows (??) in an isolated cove of Treasure Island (???).
It's the classic game of hangman with features that make it especially suitable for educators and language studies. The included Word List contains over 3000 words and phrases. You can customize or replace the Word List.
Pressing the Android Back button will close this page or exit the settings page.

*ttl* opens to the main "viewing" page.

The Game Word is shown on the lower left beneath the hangman graphic. Unknown letters are represented by a hyphen. Solved letters are shown in their correct position within the word. Tapping anywhere on the Game Word will either show the solution or begin a new game. |

The menu button, three vertical dots in the upper left corner, opens the pop-up menu. There are choices to open the settings dialog, quick start guide, this help file, or to exit *ttl*. |

Modifying the Word List:
The list of words is a text file containing one word or phrase per line. It is stored in the App's "external" folder. You can modify this file using a text editor - either on the Android device itself or from an attached computer.
Each device is slightly different. On my devices the file located in a folder named something like: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/canalrun.apps.hmpasl/files/words.txt
